Ebbett Audi Named Audi Dealer of the Year 2024

Ebbett Audi has been named Audi New Zealand Dealer of the Year for 2024, a proud milestone that reflects a year of exceptional teamwork, resilience, and dedication.

The recognition comes after a year of significant change for the dealership, including a full relocation to a new site—an achievement in itself. Despite these changes, the team continued to deliver outstanding results across all areas of the business, earning accolades in multiple categories at the 2024 Audi New Zealand Excellence Awards.

The dealership was named runner-up for both Marketing Department of the Year and Service Department of the Year. This recognition reflects the consistent efforts of the wider Ebbett Marketing team, with particular acknowledgement of Suzy Downey for her dedication in supporting the Audi business. Richard Wren was also commended for guiding the service team through a year of high standards and tireless commitment.

Ashley Joblin was awarded Business Manager of the Year, and the sales team—led by Jason Young—secured first place for Used Car Sales Team of the Year and second place for New Car Sales Team of the Year.

Reflecting on the night, Dealer Principal Andrew Unternahrer said, “it had been a great evening for our dealership, adding that in a year marked by some of the most difficult trading conditions in recent times, the collective achievement of our team is nothing short of remarkable.” He acknowledged the hard work of all team members and expressed his gratitude, promising that celebrations would follow. His immediate thanks went out to everyone for their part in the success.

Ebbett Automotive Director Walter van den Engel also shared his congratulations, describing the result as “outstanding”, given the disruption of relocating and adapting to a new environment. “To take out this award with such high-level performance across the team really speaks to the culture and commitment at Ebbett Audi,” he said. “Fantastic team effort.”
