The next chapter of the Enyaq’s success story

The new Enyaq now comes with even more extensive standard equipment, including heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and further technical improvements. Standard features include KESSY Advanced with Open-On-Approach and Walk-Away Locking functions, 3-zone Climatronic, Side Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and the Traffic Jam Assist. The new Enyaq launches in New Zealand with the 85 battery and two powertrain options: the Enyaq 85 with one electric motor and rear-wheel drive and the all-wheel drive, Enyaq 85 RS, which houses an additional motor at the front.

Tech-Deck Face and LED Matrix beam headlights with new four-eye look

The new Enyaq family embraces the Modern Solid design language, combining robustness, functionality and authenticity while reinterpreting familiar Škoda lines. Defining the Enyaq’s front, the sleek, glossy black Tech-Deck Face conceals sensors such as the radar system and front camera. Škoda lettering has replaced the logo on the bonnet. Like the lettering at the rear, it is finished in black gloss, which is also used for the inserts on the front and rear aprons. Another new feature is the Light Band with fine, vertical “eyelashes” illuminated by LEDs. Positioned above the Tech-Deck Face, it visually links the upper light units of the LED Matrix beam headlights. Two striking LED units in the lower modules provide a new, horizontal interpretation of the four-eyed night-time face that has become a hallmark of Škoda SUVs. 36 light segments in the double-row matrix module offer exceptional masking capability for oncoming vehicles.

The headlights use LEDs for all lighting functions, and the LED Matrix functionality adds a Coming/Leaving Home animation integrating the Light Band. These are available for all models, with the head-up display with augmented reality, Area View, and the Canton Sound System available for the Enyaq RS.

The rear lights conform to the classic C-shape and use LED technology throughout. These play host to both the animated turn signal and Škoda’s distinctive Coming/Leaving Home feature. Users can select from two different animations, ‘Fly In’ or ‘Pulse’.

New wheels and a new exclusive colour

The powerful appearance of the Škoda Enyaq is underlined by large, aerodynamically optimised alloy wheels available in 20 and 21 inches. Notably, the line-up now includes 21-inch Vision anthracite alloy wheels and a newly introduced exclusive Olibo Green metallic paint finish. The colour options extend to two solid paint finishes and seven metallics.

Improved aerodynamics enable longer ranges

Several of the new Enyaq’s features and adaptations enhance its already outstanding aerodynamics. These include the new front with its Modern Solid design, marked by a slimmer Tech-Deck Face with a smoother transition to the bonnet, optimised air curtains, a sealed gap between the radiator and grille, and newly designed aerodynamic wheels. The new Škoda Enyaq is now able to achieve a drag coefficient as low as 0.245, versus 0.256 for the previous model. This contributes to a significant range increase on the WLTP cycle – greater than 530 km.

Two battery sizes and powertrain variants

The Enyaq Sportline 85 variant has an electric motor, rear-wheel drive and comes with a larger lithium-ion battery offering a gross capacity of 82 kWh. It consists of twelve modules, each with 16 battery cells. Its motor produces an output of 210 kW and a maximum torque of 545 Nm. The Enyaq RS 85 featuring a second, asynchronous electric motor on the front axle enabling all-wheel drive also comes with the larger battery consisting of twelve modules, each with 24 battery cells. This all-wheel drive continuously adjusts the power transmitted to the front wheels, reducing energy consumption while enhancing directional stability.

Short charging times with charging rates of up to 175 kW

All variants of the new Škoda Enyaq support high charging rates: up to a maximum of 175 kW for the Enyaq RS. This means that the larger battery can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in 28 minutes at DC fast-charging stations. All models charge at up to 11 kW at AC charging stations.

Spacious interior and even more generous standard equipment

The interior of the new Škoda Enyaq excels with its timeless design, outstanding ergonomics and intuitive controls. It offers plenty of space for passengers as well as generous luggage capacity – 585 to 1,710 litres. A 5-inch Digital Cockpit and central 13-inch infotainment display are standard.

A head-up display with augmented reality is standard in the Enyaq RS. The redesigned steering wheel is now heated as standard and features Škoda lettering. Standard equipment now also includes KESSY Advanced with Open-On-Approach and Walk-Away Locking as well as heated front seats, and 3-zone Climatronic for all models.

Simply Clever features for everyday convenience

The new Škoda Enyaq introduces several new Simply Clever details to the series. Among them is the Enyaq debut of the QR code in the boot. Other notable Simply Clever features include a sustainable ice scraper with a tyre tread depth gauge integrated into the boot door panel, a sustainable umbrella in the driver’s door compartment, and mobile phone pockets on the backs of the front seats. The boot also offers two bag hooks and a retractable boot cover, which can be operated with a single touch. The standard electrically operated tailgate with Virtual Pedal enables convenient access to the luggage compartment. Other convenience-enhancing innovations include the Heaters function, which automatically turns on up to four heating features, and fast-charging front and rear USB-C ports with up to 45 W of power.

Updates to the infotainment system further improve the user experience

A new Heaters button activates and deactivates all heating functions with a single tap. The top bar on the infotainment screen now includes quick-access favourites for features like battery pre-heating and Heaters. The augmented-reality head-up display, available in the RS, has also been revised to include night and day display modes, updated graphics and new icons – for example, for smaller roundabouts or showing the distance to an obstacle when parking.

Standard assistance systems

Side Assist and Crew Protect Assist are now part of the extensive list of active and passive safety features in the new Enyaq. Side Assist includes Rear Traffic Alert and Exit Warning, which monitor what is happening around the car to help avoid collisions with other road users, while Crew Protect Assist is designed to optimally protect occupants in the event of an unavoidable accident.

The list of standard safety features also includes Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), which maintains a safe distance from the vehicle ahead, Attention and Drowsiness Assist, which monitors the driver’s alertness and attention and Lane Assist, which helps keep the vehicle in its lane.

Sportline variant with distinctive black detailing

The Sportline variant of the new Enyaq enhances its sporty aesthetic with extensive black detailing. This variant features a high-gloss black finish on the front spoiler, side window trim, and roof rails, as well as wing mirror caps in metallic black. Both the front and rear lettering are also finished in black. Additional features include tinted rear side windows and a tinted rear window (SunSet) as well as a Sportline badge on the tailgate. The vehicle sports 20-inch Vega alloy wheels in metallic black as standard. Equipped with LED Matrix headlights and LED rear lights with animated indicators as standard, the driver’s seat also includes a massage function.

RS: Black-painted exterior details, specifically tuned sport chassis and two external sounds

The new Enyaq RS comes with extensive standard equipment, including for example cutting-edge LED Matrix beam headlights, LED rear lights with dynamic indicators and an electrically adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, massage function and lumbar support. The models’ driving dynamics are enhanced by the progressive steering system, ensuring perfect vehicle control. The sport chassis lowers the front axle by 15 millimetres and the rear axle by 10 millimetres, for a more agile set-up. It has a more dynamic damper set-up compared to the previous version and features 15 settings for damper stiffness. Driving Mode Select offers a special traction mode tailored to the all-wheel drive. Due to their high performance, the RS variant has more powerful brakes on the front axle, with two-piston callipers. Two external sounds, Sport and Futuristic, are assigned to the different driving profiles or can be selected in Individual Mode via the infotainment menu’s driving profile option.

Sharpened design with typical black RS accents

Characteristic RS visual accents and black-painted accessories, which include the side window trim, roof rails, bonnet and tailgate lettering and wing mirror caps, sharpen the exterior design of the Škoda Enyaq RS. The front bumper and the rear bumper featuring a distinctive full-width reflector strip are also RS-specific. RS badges adorn the front wings. The alloy wheels with aero trims are another design element exclusive to the RS versions. The new 21-inch Vision wheels in anthracite metallic come as standard. In addition to all the colours of the new Enyaq family, the top models are also exclusively available in Mamba Green. The SunSet tinted rear and rear side windows make for a sleek look, as well as offering privacy and comfort. The laminated glass of the acoustic side windows at the front reduces the noise level inside the vehicle. The aerodynamics have been further improved: for the Enyaq RS, the drag coefficient starts at 0.251.

RS Lounge Design Selection for the interior

The RS Lounge Design Selection has black seat covers that are upholstered in a combination of Suedia microfibre and artificial leather, with lime green contrast stitching. The front door panels and dashboard sport a carbon-look décor. The heated three-spoke sports steering wheel is covered in perforated leather. It comes with an RS badge and with lime-green stitching. Heated front sports seats with integrated head restraints and stainless-steel pedal covers complement the dynamic appeal in the interior. The driver’s seat is always electrically adjustable and offers massage and memory functions as well as lumbar support. The 3-zone Climatronic air conditioning and mechanical sunshades for the rear side windows are standard.

RS legacy powers into the electric era

The new Enyaq RS continues Škoda’s 25-year tradition of sporty RS models, which began in 2000 with the first-generation Octavia RS, with each subsequent Octavia generation featuring an RS variant ever since. In 2003, the RS portfolio expanded with the Fabia RS, followed by a second-generation model including an estate variant. In 2018, the Kodiaq RS was Škoda’s first performance model in the SUV segment. Škoda’s RS models went electric in 2022 with the launch of the Enyaq Coupé RS, followed by the Enyaq RS. Both models feature dual-motor all-wheel drive and initially delivered 220 kW (299 hp), increased to 250 kW (340 hp) in 2023, making them the most powerful production cars in Škoda’s history. By 2025, the Enyaq RS family had recorded over 21,000 sales and received multiple awards, including “Fleet Electric Vehicle of the Year 2023”, “Switzerland’s Favourite Car 2023”, and the “Golden Steering Wheel 2022”.
