Ebbett The Base, in partnership with PlaceMakers, is giving Waikato tradies the chance to experience electric work vehicles in real working conditions.
Join us at one of our Tradie Breakfast events to see the Farizon V7E van and Geely Riddara ute up close and apply for a free 1-week trial.
What’s Happening
At each event, you can:
- Grab a free bacon & cheese breakfast bun and coffee
- Check out the vehicles in person
- Talk to the team about real-world usage
- Apply on-site for a 1-week tradie vehicle trial
The Challenge
Take the vehicle for a week and put it to work. How far can you go on a full charge with your normal daily load?
The tradie with the best result will win a $1,000 workplace shout.

Important
Vehicle trial applications are only available at the events. This ensures all participants have seen the vehicles and understand how they work before taking part.

Terms & Conditions:
- The promoter is Ebbett Waikato Limited trading as Ebbett The Base (“Ebbett”), in partnership with PlaceMakers Waikato.
- To participate, entrants must:
• Be 25 years or older
• Hold a full, valid New Zealand driver licence
• Be a Waikato-based tradie business
• Register in person at an official PlaceMakers event
Participation is subject to approval at Ebbett’s discretion. - Vehicle Trial Programme
• Selected participants may receive a 1-week loan of a Farizon V7E van or Geely Riddara ute
• Vehicle allocation and scheduling are at Ebbett’s discretion
• Participants must sign a vehicle loan agreement prior to use - Vehicle Use
Participants agree to:
• Use the vehicle for lawful purposes only
• Ensure only licensed, approved drivers operate the vehicle
• Return the vehicle in clean, reasonable condition
• Total mileage to be agreed with Ebbett staff before taking the vehicle.
Participants are responsible for:
Charging costs, Tolls, fines, and infringements and general day-to-day upkeep
- Insurance
• Vehicles are insured by Ebbett
• The participant is liable for the insurance excess in the event of a claim
• Any damage must be reported immediately - Competition – $1,000 Workplace Shout
• Eligible participants may enter during their trial period
• To qualify, participants must:
a Complete their 1-week trial
b Provide evidence of mileage
c Post on Facebook or Instagram tagging Ebbett The Base
The winner will be the participant with the highest verified mileage
