Pukekohe Association Football Club (Pukekohe AFC) is a well-established football club located in Pukekohe. Founded on 23 February 1960, the club has been a cornerstone of the Franklin community's sporting landscape for over six decades. With a membership of nearly 700 active players across all age groups, Pukekohe AFC offers inclusive football programs that cater to players of all abilities, from juniors aged 4–12 years to youth aged 13–17 years. The club provides a development pathway for talented young footballers through its sister club, Franklin United.

The club fosters a strong sense of community and inclusion, making sport accessible and enjoyable for people of all backgrounds and skill levels.

The Franklin Bulls are a professional basketball team based in Pukekohe, competing in the National Basketball League (NBL). Established in 2019, the team quickly became a prominent force in New Zealand basketball, representing the Franklin region with pride. The Bulls' logo features a fierce bull, symbolising strength and determination, and their team colours are black, red, and white. Home games are played at the Franklin Pool and Leisure Centre, affectionately known as "The Stockyard." The team has cultivated a loyal fan base and is known for its energetic mascot, Blitz, who engages fans during games.

What Koru Care is best known for is taking groups of children with major or terminal health issues to far-away fantasy destinations such as the Gold Coast, Australia and California, USA. Other activities include supplying educational and play equipment, setting up toy libraries, taking children on special day excursions and an annual Christmas Cruise.

Supporting kids in care, aged 0-17 years old, by making each child a special care pack that has been thoughtfully put together by amazing volunteers, with products donated by the local community. It's about making a difficult time just a little bit easier.

You will see the Kids In Need Volkswagen Transporter Van and the all-new Amarok Ute on the road, driving throughout the Waikato helping many families.

Several times a week, trained Patrollers volunteer their time and take to the streets of Kapiti in a marked patrol car, to help build safer communities by using Police intelligence and observation training, to prevent and report crime. Building safer communities is not always about preventing crime. As Patrollers, they are fortunate enough to be able to work with other local and government groups and receive specialised training which can help our community in times of natural disaster and other emergencies.

Into Nature School's activities and tasks are designed to inspire children to explore, discover and play in new and creative ways. They also have therapeutic benefits that can last a lifetime.

I AM HOPE has one goal - positive societal attitudinal change. We know our youth struggle with distressing self-talk and overthinking, leaving them feeling isolated and alone. When we show them these thoughts are universal, we can give our kids a better life.

Co-founded by All Blacks legend Sir John Kirwan, dedicated to lifting the mental wellbeing of 100 million people in workplaces all around the globe. There’s no one size fits all, so they take a tailored approach to help our growing list of workplaces.

Our objective is to establish a Dirt Kart Club that has good access and location to encompass a broad demographic of participants, that are not restricted by financial limitations, providing a cost-effective entry into motorsport for all ages. The Franklin Dirt Kart Club (FDKC) is a family-oriented motorsport club based in Meremere, New Zealand, situated between Auckland and Hamilton. Established in 2023, the club offers an affordable and accessible entry point into motorsport, welcoming drivers of all ages, genders, and skill levels. FDKC operates on a purpose-built clay circuit known as Ebbetts Raceway, named after its primary sponsor, Ebbett Pukekohe. The track features multiple configurations, catering to both high-speed and technical racing styles.

The Franklin Basketball Association (FBA) is a prominent basketball organisation based in Pukekohe. For over 15 years, it has been instrumental in developing and promoting basketball across South Auckland and the North Waikato region. The FBA offers a range of programs and competitions tailored for players of all ages and skill levels, emphasising inclusivity and community engagement. Notably, the association is affiliated with the Franklin Bulls, a professional team competing in the New Zealand National Basketball League (NZNBL).

Dementia Wellington (formerly Alzheimers Wellington) offers advice, support and education free to anyone affected by dementia in the Wellington region. We provide education on brain health and dementia to community groups, businesses and the wider public.

Ebbett Toyota provides a 10-seater Toyota Hiace, at no cost, to any local community charity, organisation or group that needs to transport people.

Founded in 1974, Clarks Beach Bowling Club facilitates womens and mens bowling on their state of the art greens.

Central Kids Early Education has been providing high quality, affordable early childhood education and care since 1951. They offer a child-led, learning through play philosophy that enables children to grow at their own pace, socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively (thinking creatively, problem solving, decision making).

Ebbett Toyota has provided a van that has enabled our tamariki with a weekly excursions to the ngahere, local events as well as a daily pahi service where they are transported to and from kura.

Cancer Kids First was founded by high school student Olivia Zhang at the age of 14. She had hoped to honor two of her loved ones while spreading love to a vulnerable community. Cancer Kids First's founder and volunteers now dedicate their lives to helping kids battling this disease.

The Cambridge Middle School Krakens Water Polo team has been making waves in the Waikato region, consistently showing dedication and passion for their sport. The Krakens team won the Waikato Intermediate Competition in 2023, which was a huge success for the start of the season.

Ebbett Volkswagen provided the team with brand-new uniforms, togs, and also supplied the Amarok BBQ to help the team further fundraise through sausage sizzles.

The girls volleyball team held a family-friendly fundraising event catering for families and competitive teams. It involved teams of 4 playing Volleyball in a round-robin format. This was a great fun event, with over 14 teams and a hundred people attending on the day.

The Ebbett WE LOVE VW team supplied the Amarok BBQ and all the bread and sausages, as well as some awesome prizes for a lucky dip. The Ebbett team helped raise $600 for the girls' volleyball team, so they could attend the North Island Junior Championships.

Cambridge Football Club fields senior men’s and women’s teams, and caters for about 500 boys and girls aged 4-16. The club also has youth teams to help juniors make the transition to senior football.

The Breast Cancer Foundation is promoting breast awareness and early detection to all women and men; they are helping break down the barriers that stop every eligible woman getting her mammogram; and they're actively encouraging the development and testing of new technologies for early detection.
