Hamilton Bridge Club
As part of our Build Your Dream – Poweredby BYD campaign, the Ebbett Hamilton BYD team was proud to support the HamiltonCharter Bridge Club with the handover of a brand-new microwave oven — kindlysupplied with the assistance of our friends at Heathcotes.
The club, which has around 120 members aged55 and above, regularly hosts tournaments and welcomes visitors from across the region. During these all-day events, the club provides food at lunchtime — and having a microwave on hand will make it far easier to serve hot meals to their players and guests.
While this may seem like a small gesture, it’s one that will have a big impact. As Stewart Lawrence, the member who submitted the dream, explained:
“It’s not a great expense, but it would make a big difference to be able to serve food to visitors. People won’t all have to bring their own lunch, and we’ll be able to make everyone feel even more welcome.”
This dream is a wonderful example of what can happen when local businesses and the community come together. With Heathcotes’ help, we were able to turn a simple idea into a practical solution that will benefit the club and its members for years to come.
